Overview

We have (with Grandmaster Susan Polgar’s approval) “tweaked” the game a bit for online play, all while retaining the classic game’s beauty and strategy.

High Intensity

How does it work?

There are no draws here, Somebody always wins; a “Shootout Round” or “Armageddon” determines the winner every time a USCF Rated draw occurs.

The prize rich games are just a bit faster (but not too fast) for everyone, from beginner to experienced player, on our new online and mobile platform.

Online chess doesn’t have to look like old-time Tetris. Our platform plays like what it is, one designed for today (though we also provide the option of switching to the classic Staunton style). And it has plenty of prizes, and USCF-endorsed ratings to keep everyone coming back for more.

Who We Are

Our founders are different in every way, except for one: They are both passionate about Chess. Grand Master Champion Susan Polgar and Chess NYC Founder Michael Propper take an opposite approach to the game but adore each other’s style. Combining Michael’s modern approach with Susan’s classic style, they created AAU Chess Online for the best of both worlds.
